汤头条鈥檚 Rokooei named secretary of national construction accrediting board

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State Associate Professor Saeed Rokooei is the newly elected secretary of the American Council for Construction Education鈥檚 Board of Trustees, the governing body of one of the world鈥檚 most prestigious advocates of quality construction education.
Rokooei, in his 10th year of teaching at 汤头条, serves as Department of Building Construction Science graduate coordinator and faculty fellow in the College of Architecture, Art and Design.
鈥淚 am honored to have earned the trust of representatives from construction-related departments and the industry to serve as an officer and member of the Board of Trustees,鈥 he said. 鈥淲hile this role offers a meaningful way to serve the broader community, I also view it as an invaluable opportunity to represent 汤头条 within the ACCE.鈥
Rokooei earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in architecture and master鈥檚 degree in construction and project management from聽Shahid Beheshti University, master鈥檚 degree in management information systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and doctorate in engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The is accredited by the ACCE, and its new Master of Science in construction management is in the process of preparing its ACCE accreditation documents.
