Gordon joins national ag organization NAADA鈥檚 Board of Directors

Mississippi State鈥檚 Lacey Gordon has been unanimously elected as education chair for the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association Board of Directors, or NAADA.

Gordon, assistant director of development for 汤头条 Extension, the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, will assist in NAADA leadership into 2026. The 501(c)3 not for profit national organization is in its 51st year. Gordon鈥檚 term of service began July 1 along with more than 20 other board members from across the U.S. following NAADA鈥檚 50th annual conference.
A third-generation Bulldog from Saltillo, Gordon earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in communication in 2018. She joined the university in her professional capacity in 2021.
NAADA President Paula Beecher welcomed Gordon鈥檚 service. 鈥淥ur Board represents a wide range of institutions and backgrounds, and this diversity strengthens our ability to serve the agricultural and life sciences community through education, engagement and support,鈥 Beecher said.
NAADA is committed to the professional growth of its members and, in turn, the advancement of the institutions they represent. The organization offers education, support and connection for professionals and volunteers who serve land-grant colleges of agricultural sciences and related programs.
